Official Website (There are driving directions on the website, but we used our GPS)

Here are the maps of the base provided by MDL

McGuire Gate/Visitors Center
OPEN 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday

My GPS showed the Visitors Center Address as 48 McGuire Blvd, Trenton NJ.

Their main phone number is 609-754-3628 and 609-754-3938 (6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday)

To get a pass to visit a Deploying Soldier, you must go to the visitors center, show a valid drivers license, and your registration and insurance card for your vehicle. (we drive a lease car, so the registration is not in our name, but you are allowed on base).

Your Soldier will then have to call them and give them his information, they will give you the phone number you need to give your soldier to call. Call your soldier and give them the number. They cant find and call your soldier for you, they could be anywhere on the base. If you are reading this ahead of time, maybe your soldier could call before you get there and give them his information, we have never tried this.

Once you have your pass you are allowed on base, this is where it gets interesting. This base is HUGE! I scanned in some maps but its almost impossible to find your soldier on this base. First they have probably never been there before and they don't know where they are on the base. Try to use big landmarks like the Commissary, gas station or Passenger Terminal.

If you have an iPhone you are in luck! We use Find Friends on our phones to find each other on base, with out that we have literally driven around for an hour trying to find our soldier.

Fort Dix Gate/Visitors Center

My GPS showed the Visitors Center Address as 53 RT 68 South, fort Dix NJ.
